Elfiq Networks Link Balancers are Layer-2 devices are typically deployed outside of the firewall for a seamless and transparent integration (bump-in-the-wire). All Elfiq Link Balancers are designed to proactively manage bandwidth from multiple ISP or private links, in an active-active configuration.
